It was a good program. Seeing a crowd of 1,60,000 and being part of such event is an experience that can only be lived in. Ramanachari gari speach is too good where he emphasized the role of TTD in encouraging such activities. Its heartining to Know that the TTD has given the Cd's free of cost. Though TTD has said it didn't help silicon andhra financially, the very gift of offering CD is good enough as it involves good cost.
I was very happy when Sri Garimella Balakrishna Prasad garu started with a Song on Narasimha....Kadiri Nrusimhudu ....and then followed it up with Kanti Akhilanda Karta and Vedukondama. It was simple and lucid as people were rearing to go for singing the Saptagiri sankeertanas.
Once it started, it didn't Stop. All the 7 keertanas were sung with good interest, Bhakti and emotion. Personally I was very happy as they didn't sing in the pace they mentioned in the CD, it was original tunes that they followed. Garimella Balakrishna Prasad garu and his son Anil led the show well.
Once the show is complete the Guinness personal has announced that the record is broken and broken with considerable difference. It was a great achievement and the world record will stay on Annamacharyaa's Name. This was possible because of the efforts of Silicon Andhra and all the volunteers who worked day and Night to make this program a grand success. And the main credit goes to all the singers,participants without whom this record couldn't have been achieved.
3 cheers to all of them.,,,, Now coming to Cons....(this is totally a personal Opinion)
1. Since this is a music oriented program, probability of attendance of senior citizens is more. They should have kept a separate entrance for them. Same is the case with Handicaps.When I was entering, the lady next to me was very old and carrying some device to walk and the guy right to me was blind. I felt really bad as they should have been allowed from a Separate entrance.
2. No numbering. Lot of emphasis was done on registering for the event and sitting as per the slot awarded. This didn't happen . This has lead to lot of chaos.
3. I didn't find any Annamachayra Cut Out. I was really surprised. I am sorry if its there and I missed it, but I didn't find any such thing.
These things happen when such Herculean Programs are undertaken. I just mentioned them as I felt they could have done better in these.
I Would have been more critical had this been an event organized by TTD. They are masters in organizing crowd events. Since its a silicon Andhra event, considering the volume of people who have attended,the program is a GRAND SUCCESS.

I was given to understand the military authorities could could handover the premises to the organisers just only one day before. The actual programe instead of 5 days before as requested by the organizers to make all necessary arrangements. The organizers could have done better if the land premises was handed over to them well in advance. In this Hot summer day time, I feel that the organizers have done pretty well. If they had the time, they might have done still better. This is my personal opinion.
