Annamacharya Jayanti...No words to describe..

It was a wonderful journey for us to the home village of Sri Tallpaka Annamacharya..
We are lucky to be present there and witness one of the finest executions of a great project.
Sravan, Prasad garu and Myself , first entered rajampet and found that town to be in a festive mood.. Every house, Every shop, and everyone geared up to the occasion. Where ever we see, there are banners. Pick of them are the rangavallis on mother earth..they are simply superb..everywhere you go, its SANKHAM, CHAKRAM AND NAMAM,...
Then came the lord of Seven Hills...Malayappa was brought to Tallapaka for Tirumanjana seva, and we are lucky to see him from very closet. I Never thought that, i will be able the utsava moorthy of sri venkateswara from such a short distance..its just fantastic....
Then we saw many biggies..
petadhipaties..including ahobilam jeeyar
Sri bhuman karunakara reddy, Ramanachari,Manjubhargavi.etc etc
In summary, manjubhargavi ninchi malayappa daaka, andarini cover chesaam
Then for some distance we travelled by Bus, and sang sankeertanas inside the bus..,
We landed where the entire event was happening, and the first sight of the stage drew our breath away....
That great man, whose sankeertanas we have been singing for all these years...That great mans sankeeertanas that has brought new trend to the sahityam ..seeing 108 Feet statue of that great immortal personality is something that should be experienced as i am getting short of words at this juncture..
It was simply an amazing statue and every inch of it is royal....
we somehow found some good place, near to the start and then the sankeertana goshti has started....
600 Artists, from different places across India and abroad have come to perform on this occasion...This includes sri Balakrishna prasad garu, the great maestro.
The following songs were sung :

7) Narayanate namo namo
....
All the peetadhipatis gave mangalasanas to the occasion and spoke about sri Annamacharya...How pancha samskaram was done to him and all.. it was good.
There was a flower exhibition and photo exhibition organized by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthaanams(TTD). It was good.
Food was arranged for all the people who have come there..and it included the local sangati..which was quite good..may be thats why Annamacharya included this in one of his songs...

After taking lunch, we just relaxed till evening/..In the interim, a songs CD was released,that is having songs sung by smt jyotirmayee
In the evening, we went inside Tallapaka village and visited sri Chennakesava Swamy temple, Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya temple...They were very nice..It was a wonderful feeling to visit the hometown of sri Annamacharya...that village itself is a scenic beauty..
We walked from there to the place where event was happening..and Tiruamanjana seva was performed to sri Malayappa ...May be Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya has wished that Malayappa visit his home town and bless the people there..that was Fulfiled yesterday as Tirumanaja Seva to the lord of seven hills was performed in Tallapaka amid more than 20K people..It was fascinating...
Then came the real fun..Fire works.
Different varieties of fireworks were fired...Almost all of them, once reaching the top, coming down as flowers to sri Tallapaaka Annamacharya statue... It was a scene that took our breath away..wonderful execution.
Then there was kacheri of 2 maestros on same vedika..Sri Nedunuri Krishnamoorthy garu..and Sri Garimella Bala krishna prasad garu..
Unfortunately, we couldn't witness the whole of kacheri, due to time constraints , we had to catch our train back at 9..so we came back to station..and that's how the trip was concluded......
In summary, I am happy to be part of this event, and I feel this will be undoubtedly the best thing that could have happened in my life...
The entire project was executed with perfection in every stage and hats off to TTD to organize such an event. Every year, Aradhanotsavams will be performed in tallapaka and hopefully, we'll see more such events in near future...
Venkataadri samamsthaanam brahmande naaastiknchana.....TTD has proved that...
Venkatesa Samaudevo nabhuto nabhavishyati....Annamacharya has proved that...
